another look at the iraqi invasion

ok, i know this is a bit late and might seem irrelevant, but the reason it's coming up here and now is because it was discussed in my mid east politics class on wed.

this was the analogy i formed regarding the invasion of iraq. US and UK are the policemen walking down the street, and they see this many times ex-convict, named saddam, walking down the other way. in her leather jacket (of coz all those ex-con tough chick types need to have a leather jacket) is a bulky looking item. UK and US look at each other like those bad B-grade drama detectives, think the package is a gun, and start chasing saddam. the chick just stands there. UK and US tackle her. and since they live in a law abiding world, they read her rights and ask her to let them see what the package is. being the rogue she is, saddam doesn't give them permission. instead of taking her to the station to be searched by a policewoman (ie, UN) they decide that during the time they take her to the station, she'll pull out the gun and shoot them, so they decide to shoot her before she can shoot them. OOPS!!! after they see her brains leaking out all over the pavement, they look within the jacket and see that the package is actually *horror of horrors* an empty box!!!
